Medical Software for the IPhone

I currently use a Windows Mobile pocket PC phone, but I'm toying with the idea of getting an iphone, but I'm concerned about being able to get my medical software that I rely on - drug guides, medical dictionaries, etc.

Any other iphone users out there that can reassure me?

there are many different kinds of medical software packages for the iPhone. Epocrates an skyscape both have very extensive packages that are available and work without having a signal if you lose yours at the hospital. I have tried out both and they are very easy to use. Easier than my palm tx I gave up for my iPhone. Well worth it.

Skyscape is what I use for my IV drug guide.

I've also heard that the GPS on the iPhone is not very good and doesn't read the turn by turn directions out loud. Has that been fixed?
